In the last week of November, 2023, the New Myanmar Foundation (NMF) and Women Lead Resource Center (WLRC) participated in a 16 Days of Activism activity “The event featured participation in the Women Fellowship Cup 2023 Football Match” in Thailand organized by community groups.
New Myanmar Foundation (NMF) distributed informational pamphlets on gender-based violence and the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women to raise awareness about gender-based violence, showcase women’s power and foster community connections among women, particularly newly arrived refugees and immigrants throughout November, 2023.
Partner, WLRC, conducted a “Friendship Conversation Dinner” that facilitated networking among women. These campaign activities also established a platform for ongoing communication and collaboration among women, contributing to long-term empowerment and gender equality.
