On July 10, 2022, the New Myanmar Foundation and its partner, Women Lead Resource Center (WLRC) conducted a Land Rights Campaign in Maesot, Thailand, advocating for equal land rights for migrants and around 20 migrants attended. The campaign aimed to raise awareness about the pressing issues faced by migrants and refugees who fled Myanmar due to military threats and violations. The campaign highlighted the challenges migrants face in securing land rights and the legal avenues available to them.

The campaign aimed to educate the migrants on their rights and the steps they can take to protect them and the campaign was a significant step towards empowering migrants in Thailand with the knowledge and tools needed to assert their rights and work towards a more equitable future.
