On September 16, 2024, the New Myanmar Foundation (NMF) conducted an International Day of Democracy Awareness Sharing Campaign from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with 25 participants in attendance. The event began with an introduction where participants shared their backgrounds and motivations for joining. NMF then presented on the importance of democracy, highlighting its principles and challenges, especially within the context of Myanmar’s ongoing struggles. 

Following the presentation, participants engaged in a lively discussion, exchanging views on the current state of democracy and emphasizing the role of youth and civic engagement in advocating for democratic values. The session concluded with participants reaffirming their commitment to promoting democracy in their communities.
