On September 15, 2024, the New Myanmar Foundation (NMF) conducted an Airstrike Awareness Sharing Session in the Sagaing Region, attended by over 50 participants, including community leaders, civilians, and representatives from civil society organisations. The session aimed to equip attendees with critical knowledge on airstrike preparedness, including identifying early warning signs, safe evacuation and sheltering strategies, and basic first aid for airstrike-related injuries. 

Psychological coping mechanisms were also discussed to help individuals manage trauma from airstrike incidents. The participants expressed gratitude for the life-saving information, particularly in light of ongoing conflicts in the region. NMF plans to continue such sessions to support and protect vulnerable communities across Myanmar.
