On January 14, 2024, the Women Lead Resource Center (WLRC); partner of New Myanmar Foundation (NMF) organized a meat support program at Migrant School in Thailand, benefiting over 30 migrant children in celebration of World Children’s Day. This initiative aimed to provide a nutritious meal and bring joy to these vulnerable children, who often face food insecurity and other challenges. The program underscored the significant role of communities in ensuring the well-being of all children, regardless of their background, by contributing to their physical and mental well-being and fostering a sense of community. 

The Women Lead Resource Center remains committed to supporting these children through future events focused on education, healthcare, and recreational activities. The program showed the power of community action in positively impacting children’s lives, demonstrating that local organizations and individuals can work together to create a better future for all children.
