On this World Humanitarian Day, August 19, 2024, we wish to recognize and honor the countless volunteers and organizations dedicated to humanitarian efforts worldwide. As global crises continue to rise, the need for humanitarian work grows ever more urgent. It is imperative that, in aiding those affected by war and conflict, we uphold human rights and dignity without discrimination based on race or ethnicity, while also fostering long-term development.
