On August 16, 2024, the New Myanmar Foundation (NMF), alongside its partner organizations, endorsed the Joint Felicitation Letter of Support for the success of the Bangladesh Movement. The letter was signed by 255 organizations representing Myanmar’s revolution forces and civil society, demonstrating their solidarity with the ongoing struggles for justice and democracy in Bangladesh.

Among the signatories, 178 organizations have been publicly listed, while 77 others have chosen not to disclose their names due to the heightened security risks and the junta’s ongoing violence in Myanmar. This collective endorsement underscores the shared values of freedom, human rights, and resistance against oppressive regimes that bind the movements in Myanmar and Bangladesh.

This collaboration further strengthens regional efforts to address common challenges, reinforcing the commitment of the Myanmar revolution forces and civil society organizations to continue supporting movements for democracy across borders.
