Executive Director of the New Myanmar Foundation Dr. Sann Aung Attends Luncheon with Australian Governor-General and Dignitaries
On Feb 14, 2024, Dr. Sann Aung, Executive Director of the New Myanmar Foundation, attended a luncheon hosted by the Australian Governor-General, General David Hurley, along with Mrs. Linda Hurley and Her Excellency Ambassador Angela Macdonald, at the ambassador’s residence today. The event was attended by several other dignitaries. The Luncheon was an immense honor for our work and invigorates our commitment to fostering enduring bonds between the peoples of Australia, Thailand, and Myanmar. This extraordinary occasion served as a profound affirmation of Australia’s unwavering support for the people of Myanmar.
Executive Director Dr San Aung shared his remark that “As an Australian, this recognition by the people and leaders of Australia is a profound support and honour for our selfless efforts to assist Myanmar migrants and refugees.
