IDP Support Activity (December 20, 2021)
On December 20, 2021, the New Myanmar Foundation made a significant humanitarian contribution by donating medical supplies, food, and sanitized pure water to internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the liberated area of Myawaddy. These individuals had been displaced due to the coup and ensuing military junta violations. In addition to these essential supplies, the foundation provided medical treatment to the IDPs who got the injuries due to the military’s violations, addressing their urgent healthcare needs.
This support was crucial in improving the living conditions and health of those affected by the ongoing conflict, demonstrating the foundation’s commitment to alleviating the suffering of vulnerable populations in crisis situations.
