Sewing Machine Training Batch 7 (June 7 to June 11, 2022)

With the support of Australia Embassy, the New Myanmar Foundation (NMF) and its partner, Women Lead Resource Center (WLRC), conducted the Sewing Machine Training Batch 7 from June 7 to June 11, 2022, with 7 participants (4 males and 3 females) attending the free Basic Motorized Sewing Course. The training included comprehensive instruction on sewing skills and covered vital topics such as human rights, migrant worker rights, women’s rights, Thailand Labor Law, government departments related to Thai workers, and common problems between employers and workers with solutions. This approach ensured that participants were equipped with both practical sewing skills and crucial knowledge about their legal rights and workplace issues.

After completing the training, all participants successfully entered the workplace, highlighting the effectiveness of the program in preparing individuals for employment and empowering them with the necessary skills and knowledge for their professional and personal development.
