Digital Security Training (2022,May17-May19)
From May 11 to May 13, 2022, the New Myanmar Foundation (NMF), with the support of FHI 360, conducted a Digital Security Training for 70 human rights defenders (36 males and 34 females) inside Myanmar, aiming to enhance their digital security skills to protect sensitive information and ensure their safety. The training covered essential topics such as risk assessment, secure communication, data protection, device security, safe browsing, and incident response, providing participants with practical skills and knowledge.
Participants engaged actively in practical sessions and interactive discussions, applying the skills to real-life scenarios and sharing knowledge. This initiative successfully raised awareness about digital security, equipped human rights defenders with vital skills, and contributed to their ability to work safely and securely in the digital environment.
