Celebrating International Women Day Online Campaign (March 8, 2024)
On March 8, 2024, New Myanmar Foundation and its partner organizations, organised a dynamic online campaign in honor of International Women’s Day, themed “Inspire Inclusion,” to celebrate and uplift women’s voices globally. The campaign resonated deeply with participants, highlighting empowerment and solidarity. The event commenced with a speech commemorating the day and recognizing women’s pivotal roles, particularly those in the Nway Oo revolution in Myanmar, applauding their courage and resilience.
Participants engaged actively by modifying their Zoom profiles to reflect the campaign’s theme, symbolizing solidarity with women worldwide and commitment to gender equality. The event’s impact was profound, fostering a collective determination to advocate for a society where every woman’s voice is heard and valued.
